The images were clipped, merged and tiled using FWTools and dstile from
the FAA/NACO Charts and are for non-commercial purposes.
The merged images will not be kept up to date but may be updated yearly or ??
There is another set processed, uploaded and being served that shows the
full charts in a checkerboard fashion including all text that may be kept up to date if
there is sufficiant usage to make it viable. They will be available with an
EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) app that has been tested but still being changed before
being released. This includes GPS tracking with redundant receivers. The app has the
basic functions for ADS-B display when receivers are availabe at a reasonable price.
All of the 2010 charts can be zoomed down until the grain of the paper the
images were scaned from by the FAA/NACO are visable.
The 2010 set is being served for trial and are watermarked.
A fee will be charged to download the 2010 set without/or minimal watermarks.
Here are some basic examples for the layers for WWJ. They will request the
watermarked 2010 images or display any of the sets that have or will be downloaded.

you are short on disk space.
=================
*Important: Get your layer set up and working with just levels 0, 1 and 2 first!
Then you can take the time to download the larger .zip files.
This is for personal not commercial use.
Several have asked about uses that are not "personal" but on a LAN that is not open
to the public and permission was granted.
There have been a few instances where the images were served or included in an
application that was sold.
For help on the layers check the WWJ forum
There will be a minimal charge to download the 2010 set.
These still are not to be served to the public or included in a
package for sale or otherwise unless an agreement is made.
