The images show the Distance.exe app used with a NASA WorldWind application.
The Distance GUI takes a small amount of space and contains several functions.
The Distance app can be used alone for most calculation functions.
The images will be referred to from top left (1.) to bottom right (4.).

1. Shows the Distance GUI in the top left of the Nww app, right now the GUI cannot be moved but double clicking the app on the task bar will minimize it.
2. The Points items will get the points or they can be typed or pasted in with just a few format restrictions. The GoTo will move the image to those points or they can be used for calculations.
3. Survey data from text files can be displayed. Two files or sets of files can be drawn and cleared independently.
4. The images can be zoomed in with any available layer/s. 1. and 2. is the Blue Marble, 3. is the USGS Digital Ortho (probably the best geo referencing) and 4. is the MSVE layer.

All of the data in the text boxes can be copied and pasted. Any of the survey lines drawn can be picked and the start and end points will be displayed in the Nww text boxes as shown in 4.. This data can be pasted into the Distance app for calculations. As mentioned on a previous page the calculations are very accurate and in C++ very fast.
